Rules and Regulations
- The Laurel Hill Cemetery is not responsible for any decorations. Decorating the graves is done at your own risk.
- Visiting hours: Dawn until dusk
- Speed limit throughout cemetery is 15 MPH
- Should you be in your vehicle after the gates close? Use the rear exit. Pull your vehicle up to the line in front of the gate and stop. The gate will open in and you can exit.
- Decorations inside, outside or on the Mausoleum structures are prohibited
- Planting area on a grave is 12 inches maximum in front only of the memorial
- Artificial and fresh flowers are permitted only in bronze or aluminum memorial vases
- The cemetery is not responsible for any flowers or decorations.
- Unmaintained flowers or decorations will be removed
- Items that present a hazard are not permitted. i.e. glass, rocks, fencing, woodchips. These items will be removed
- Decorations will be removed from the graves March 1st and November 1st.
- Recreational activities are prohibited. No skateboarding, roller-blading, golf
- The walking of pets is prohibited
- Anyone visiting the cemetery does so at his own risk
- The planting of trees, shrubs, and perennials are prohibited
- Laurel Hill Cemetery reserves the right to remove any object not permitted by the cemetery rules.
